Defective Shock Absorbers Are a Safety Risk |

F1-tested OE-quality: Sachs
OE-quality in drive shafts and joints: Spidan
Proven matching quality: Cifam
Underperforming shock absorbers affect road holding, braking distance – especially with ABS brakes –and controllability in abrupt manoeuvres. Cold weather and bad roads are the main causes of shortened shock absorber life, whereas effective suspension increases the life of chassis parts – ball joints, suspension arms and especially tyres. Using Sachs shock absorbers together with Sachs coil springs guarantees a superior suspension even in harsh Nordic conditions.
Sachs has for decades been a leading supplier of shock absorbers and clutches for F1 teams and other motorsport scene. Along the years, the ”F1 test laboratory” has produced a large number of innovations also applicable to other vehicles. An example is the concept of active suspension, which has been developed into model-specific Performance lowering kits with pre-set absorber settings.
Being in the forefront of development, Sachs is also trusted by the automotive industry. In collaboration with vehicle manufacturers, Sachs has designed and manufactured a number of new, lighter solutions for clutches, including the dual mass flywheel and Dyna Start.
Our main brand of drive shafts and joints is Spidan from GKN, the world’s leading supplier of drive shafts and joints for OE manufacturers and aftermarket. As a supplementary supplier we have Cifam, offering joint sets including not only a lubricated joint but also a hub nut, a rubber boot with clamps and, if necessary, a lock ring.
